Enjoying these last bits of Summer weather with this vintage t-shirt dress that I stole from my dad. (It’s really just a t-shirt, but for me, it’s a dress.) Although they aren’t everyone’s style, I like the idea of tunics and long t-shirts worn as dresses, because why the heck not? I frantically searched through my dad’s shirt drawer in hopes of finding one long enough…but this worked! My dad actually looked at me like I was crazy for wearing this, but I love it when people stare at me for the different things that I wear. I usually take it as a compliment. That’s what fashion freedom is all about, wearing things that you love and rocking a style that fits YOU and not caring what others think about it.

So, since I already stole a vintage T, I figured that I might as well snag a few photos with the pop’s ’88 Mercury Cougar. The car isn’t really in any working condition, but it works well as a prop. I found the inspiration for this outfit on Pinterest and couldn’t wait to give it my own vibe. I decided to pair it with more modern touches; like my awesome Free People necklace and my knee high boots from Go Jane. Oh! And let’s not forget my John Lennon sunnies! I think all of these pair together nicely. What do you think?
